5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 pound lard, chilled and cut into small pieces1 teaspoon salt1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverageIn a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in lemon-lime soda until mixture forms a ball. Divide dough in quarters and shape into balls.
